As a respected member of the local business community (or possibly because he was accosted by a reporter in the High Street) it came as no surprise that Scott's views were sought by that great organ, the Daventry Express.  With a recession upon us, Scott was asked for his thoughts on the hot topic of childrens' pocket money and revealed that he used to get 50p per week, or 10 shillings as it was then.  The most startling revelation was at the end of the interview - "Scott Jones, Director (43)".  It would appear that up until now Scott has omitted to add the VAT when he declared his age.
